Breastfeeding although natural is often a learned skill for both mother and baby. There are a multitude of problems which can infulence your success. You may have spent considerable time finding information about breastfeeding during your pregnancy only to discover that baby does not seem to have read the same texts as you.

My aim is to provide practical breastfeeding help and support to assist mother's in achieving their individual breastfeeding goals.

Help with Breastfeeding

Families seek breastfeeding help for a wide variety of problems, the most common reasons I come across are:

Mother, Midwife and Lactation Consultant

I have both personal experience and the professional qualifications required to help and support you with breastfeeding.

Mother: I exclusively breastfeed both of my children Nicole and Matthew until 13 and 14 months respectively.

Midwife: I graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Midwifery in 1994 and have been working for the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Trust (NHS) ever since.

Lactation Consultant: I qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2007.

I work within Oxford and am happy to visit the surrounding Oxfordshire villages. I currently provide an appointment based service within your own home or could visit you during your hospital stay. Contact me for further information.
